Le traitement par TAHOR doit débuter à une posologie de 10 mg par jour. La dose sera ensuite adaptée individuellement toutes les quatre semaines jusqu'à 40 mg par jour. Par la suite, la posologie peut être augmentée jusqu'à 80 mg par jour au maximum. Un chélateur des acides biliaires peut être également prescrit en association avec une posologie de 40 mg d'atorvastatine par jour.
